Plano hobs have 1mm thick edge, allowing their flush or semiflush installation in kitchen worktop. If the flame goes out , the automatic re-ignition will try 3 times to restart the burner; if it fails the flame failure device will stop the gas supply (Gas Protekt). Innovative technology makes it possible to detect the temperature of each burner when it is turned off after cooking time, with a specific sensor. The letter H appears on the digital display close to burner controls until the temperature reaches a warm level, so that the burner is safe to touch and can be cleaned.
